Crafting is so much fun!
Here are some seasonal ideas that we made this year.
For the gnomes we used Styrofoam cones that are covered with socks. For the beard we used the lining that was found inside the socks and cut them to shape. We also used the top part of the socks to make the hats. We loved how they turned out!
We designed and made some glass ornaments for the Christmas tree using our hands. When our hand print was dry we added buttons and a carrot nose, some hats and scarves which created some really cool snowmen!
For these tiles that we created, we used some Scribbles paint and made a spider web. After it was dry then we painted out hand and placed it on the web so it created a spider that we could detail with some eyes and teeth. When dry we placed them around the house for decorations. We love them!
For these wooden pumpkins. We glued four pieces of wood together to make the shape and then we painted them orange and added some speckles for dimensions. When dry we stenciled on the eyes and mouth and nose. They sure added a personal touch to our outdoor decorations!
